RECESSION! Are Black People Prepared For The Coming Economic Collapse?

Within the last couple of weeks you have some of the major Investment Banks such as Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch coming out and saying what I have been saying for quite some time now, and that is that America is in a Recession.

As this revelation is beginning to spread many are scrambling to protect themselves. My concern is that as I monitor and listen to the media that targets the Black community there is not much mentioned about the Crises and what Black People can do to protect themselves and survive possibly the worst economic event in modern history.

Obviously, it is exciting to watch the presidential race with Barack Obama, possibly the first Black President and Hillary Clinton, possibly the first woman President. However, while we are engulfed in the theater of politics, the dire economic picture has taken stage, the Global stage that is. And the truth is that no politician can solve what has become a Global phenomenon where economies and markets are linked together.

To take this a step further, the Law of economics has began to take what we thought could be controlled by men and women and has become the determining force of how the economies of the world function.

As the economic Crisis gets worse it behooves us a Black People to take seriously and begin to think about how we should prepare ourselves to function in a Global economy where what white people think is becoming less and less important.

What is the first step Black People should take, you may ask. The first step is that we must become Aware that a Crisis exists.
